Sub Contract

Since 1978 Maylan Engineering Ltd have built up a varied and comprehensive machining capability with the specific intention of providing our customers with the widest possible range of sub – contract machining services. We have a mix of CNC Sliding Head Lathes and CNC Turning Centres together with Twin Pallet 4-axes Machining Centres and CNC Turret Mills. This means we have the capability to produce components from one-offs to batch sizes of many thousands as well as offering high productivity overall.

Other in-house facilities include drilling, grinding, fabrication and product assembly, all of which assist us to maintain control of lead times and cost to your advantage.

We also offer you a willingness to solve apparently difficult machining problems, along with an ability to manufacture our own tooling and fixtures. In terms of quality we operate a dedicated and comprehensively equipped inspection department and our systems and administrative procedures are in line with our ISO 9001:2000 accreditation.

Finally, we run our own delivery vehicles which means that we can meet all your requirements in respect of delivery scheduling such as J I T or KANBAN.
