Twin Vice Product Description

Twin Vice is designed to provide improved flexibility and output in production areas.

The System provides reliable and secure featuring for components having regular or complex shapes at the same time allowing for the holding of twice the number of parts that can be held in a standard vice.

Standard Twin Vice Jaws are fitted with hardened steel inserts. Options of soft steel or machinable high tensile (H/T) aluminium jaws are also available. The high tensile (H/T) aluminium jaws can be machined to suit the profile of the component to be machined, ensuring that parts are clamped in the correct orientation for each machining operation.

The system incorporates a quick-change feature that enables jaws to be changed within seconds, further reducing setting-up times. The quick-change mechanism also ensures that the moving jaws pull down when clamping the parts.

Multiple Twin Vice units can be mounted on a Maylan Vice Location Plate.
